On the Use of the Defence Forces of Georgia throughout the Whole Territory of Georgia

1. In order to ensure the effective implementation of the measures determined by Decree No 1 of 21 March 2020 of the President of Georgia ‘On Measures to be Implemented in connection with the Declaration of a State of Emergency throughout the Whole Territory of Georgia’ and Ordinance No 181 of 23 March 2020 of the Government of Georgia ‘On the Approval of Measures to be Implemented in connection with the Prevention of the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia’, to reduce the possible threat to the life and health of the population of the country, to normalise the situation and to ensure the public safety, the defence forces of Georgia shall be used throughout the whole territory of Georgia on the basis of Article 72(2) of the Constitution of Georgia and Article 2(2) of the Law of Georgia on State of Emergency.

2. This order shall enter into force on 31 March 2020.
